It is easy to put prayer on our daily to-do list and either get in the habit of seeing it as another duty to cross off or an unimportant task to shuffle around when our routine becomes disordered. But prayer becomes less of a burdensome chore when we choose to love Jesus and grow in the knowledge of why, when, and how we pray. When that love and knowledge transform into a relationship with Jesus that is rooted in prayer, everything changes.
