Have you ever been told: “When the time is right, you will find the person God has been preparing for you?” Focusing on growing in our relationship with God is good advice. But, when we find ourselves alone when we desire to be in a relationship; when everyone else seems to be dating; when someone breaks up with us; what then? How can we find hope when we find ourselves single? We will reflect on the ways we can cultivate a hopeful disposition of openness to God’s will even when our relationship status is not what we desire.
