On Thursday we will focus on the themes of journey and being blessed. As each of us journeys through life, we encounter Christ on the way. Sometimes in ways that we recognize him, and sometimes in ways that we don't. However, each one of us has the opportunity to encounter the Lord, at any time, in the Sacred Scriptures.

M02 - Friday Morning Main Session
The disciples do not recognize Christ when they first encounter him on the road. Their faces are downcast as they recall to him what had happened in Jerusalem. Things are not always as they appear; as Jesus, who died on the cross, stands with them in their sadness.

The disciples urged Jesus to stay with them. It was in the breaking of the bread that they recognized him. Keynote: Mark Hart

On Friday evening, we will have time to sit in the presence of our Eucharistic Lord. He is made known to us at table as well, on the altar in the Eucharist, the Bread of Life. Presider: Fr. Josh Johnson
